Art.1
Name and Seat The Swiss Working Group for Coloproctology (SAKP) is a working group of both the Swiss Society for Gastroenterology (SGG) in the sense of Chapter 7 of the SGG Statutes of 2004, and the Swiss Society for Visceral Surgery. The SAKP was founded on January 25, 1979, under the name "Swiss Working Group for Colo-Recto-Proctology". The seat of the SAKP is at the residence-workplace of the President

Art.2
Purpose The SAKP primarily aims to: Organize scientific meetings Promote teaching and dissemination of knowledge in the field of coloproctology Contribute to conferences organized by SGG and SGVC Promote research in the field of coloproctology Ensure relations with scientific associations in Switzerland and abroad.

Art.3
Membership The SAKP consists of regular members and honorary members. Regular members: Federally certified doctors and doctors with equivalent diplomas who are interested in coloproctology can apply for membership. The application for membership must be submitted to the President of the SAKP. The members' meeting decides on the admission on the proposal of the board. If the application is rejected, a new application can be submitted at the earliest at the next members' meeting. Honorary members: The members' meeting can confer honorary membership on all persons who are recognized by the SAKP on the proposal of the board. Resignation: Resignation must be declared in writing to the President. The President informs the members' meeting.

Art. 5
General Assembly The members' meeting is held annually at the "Swiss Coloproctology Conference".

Art. 7
Board until The board is elected by the members' meeting for 2 years. The President-elect takes over the chairmanship after the end of his term. The mandate of the Treasurer can be renewed.

Art. 8
President The President leads the organization of the SKAP events, has control over the financial resources of the SAKP, represents the SAKP on the board of the SGG and SGVC, and determines the representation of the SAKP at the supranational level. The President submits a report on the financial year to the members' meeting with the "President's Activity Report". President-elect and Past President: The President-elect and the Past President represent the President, on his behalf, in certain tasks assigned to him. Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for the accounting of the SAKP and presents it to the members' meeting for approval. He is a fully authorized member of the board. Signature: The President and the Treasurer have sole signing authority

Art. 9
Auditors Two auditors are elected by the members' meeting for a term of two years. Re-election is possible. They examine the accounts and submit a written report to the members' meeting.

Art. 10: Membership fee The membership fee is set by the members' meeting on the proposal of the board. Art. 11: Amendment of the Regulations These regulations can be amended by the members' meeting with the consent of the board of the SGG and the SGVC. Amendment proposals must be submitted to the President at least three months before the members' meeting.

Art. 12
Dissolution The dissolution of the society can only be decided at a members' meeting attended by at least half of the regular members. The dissolution resolution requires a three-quarters majority of the regular members present. If the members' meeting is not quorate, a second members' meeting must be convened within four weeks, in which the dissolution can be decided by three-quarters of the regular members present, regardless of their number. The members' meeting that decides on the dissolution is responsible for the liquidation of the SAKP's assets.

Art. 13
Entry into force These regulations were approved by the board of the SGG and the SGVC and adopted by the members' meeting on November 5, 2005. They come into force on the same date.
